Mr. Stephen Chukwemeka
International Development Advocate & Former Professional Athlete
Mr. Stephen Chukwemeka is a globally experienced professional whose career journey spans elite sports and international humanitarian service. A former professional footballer, he played for top-tier Nigerian clubs including Akwa United, MFM FC, and My People FC, and later represented Brikama United in The Gambia and Alynse FK in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Supported by the Independent Schooling Fund (ISF) in Toronto, Canada, Mr. Chukwemeka transitioned from professional sports to global development, leveraging his platform to support humanitarian initiatives across Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.
Widely traveled, he has worked with various international organizations across countries such as Ghana, Gambia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Libya, Morocco, UAE, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Turkey, Russia, and Georgia, bringing a unique blend of discipline, cross-cultural experience, and a deep passion for community empowerment.
His commitment to global impact and service makes him a valuable asset to the Akurulo Tech Ville project and other forward-looking initiatives.
